Q: What jobs does Childs Construction Services, Inc. (C.C.S.) handle?
A: We are a full service company. What we cannot do, we have fully qualified sub-contractors that have we have established long term relationships with.

Q: I see that the main focus of C.C.S. is on association work, are you capable of working for homeowners outside of associations?
A: Yes, we do work on houses including anything from "honey do lists" to additions.

Q: What areas does C.C.S. serve?
A: We service the western and southwestern suburbs of Chicago.

Q: Does C.C.S. have the ability to build custom cabinets and furniture off-site?
A: Yes, we have a large wood shop in our Warrenville address along with plenty of storage to fulfill the needs of our customers.

Q: Someone from C.C.S. is coming to my unit to do some work for the association, can he fix my sink (toilet, drywall, doorknob, etc) for me while he is here?
A: Yes and no, employees are not allowed to do work for homeowners directly. However, if you call the main office we can schedule your home repair, even during the same time slot. In order to maintain integrity with the association, we do not have the same worker completing association work and residential work in the same unit at the same time. If you have work you would like done while someone is working in your unit, we will send a second tech to complete your work.

Q: Does C.C.S. have a discount for paying in cash?
A: No, cash or check pays the same. For most jobs, the tech will provide a bill on-site and you can pay him directly. Our techs cannot work for cash "under the table."

Q: Does C.C.S. have emergency service?
A: Yes, we have 24/7 emergency service for our maintenance customers.

A: We are always looking for challenge. We would be happy to create your vision.

Q: I am looking to increase storage space in my home, can C.C.S. help?
A: Yes, we can look at your needs and help you both inside and outside your home.

Q: There are some areas in the yard that I would like to be able to use, but they are always wet and muddy. Can C.C.S. work with this area?
A: We have years of experience designing and implementing drainage solutions using grading, underground pipe and retaining walls.
